Summary
You know, when Nick Fury gave Spidey and co a vacation in Paris, this was not how they were expecting to spend it. Granted, it was Peter who found Ladybug's distress call and thought S.H.I.E.L.D Academy could use a few foreign transfers. From what he'd seen from them, it was a no brainer to lend them a hand. Pity Director Fury didn't see it that way...
But Peter is aware his luck never lasts. Before too long, students start disappearing, and their akumatised selves are reappearing. What's more, Spidey and Ladybug soon discover the Sinister Six are on the prowl in Paris, as is their new benefactor, whose plans for the Miraculouses and the akumas could be too much for even S.H.I.E.L.D to handle...

After Batman and Plastic Man stop Clayface using the Independence Day fireworks to turn the eastern seaboard into Clayfaces, worlds collide as Shadow Moth's latest victim, dubbed the Vortexer, manages to strand Ladybug, Bunnyx, Purple Tigress and Polymouse in the DC universe. Or was it Vortexer's doing? It seems dimensions are under strain, and it might not be Shadow Moth's fault.
Batman and Blue Beetle are fighting the Masters of Disaster when four new heroes arrive. Separated from their own world, and their Miraculouses, they desperately want to return to their own universe. But that might be easier said than done. Paradox creatures begin stalking Ladybug, the fabric of reality is on the verge of collapse, destroying both worlds, and the fourth shard of Equinox is on the prowl...

When Spidey and Ghost-Spider chase Doc Ock and Lizard to Paris, they're initially unaware the villains have got a scheme in mind to steal genetic samples from a Parisian lab that Rose's dad works out, that will allow for the creation of animal human hybrids. Nor are they aware of the new heroes who think they're the bad guys. Problematic, for sure. Especially considering Spidey and Ghost-Spider are almost certainly going to have to team up with Ladybug and Cat Noir in order to stop Ock and Lizard turning Paris into a city of animal human hybrids. That in of itself being a task that wouldn't be helped by a certain megalomaniacal Russian hunter showing up in the city to study the Miraculous Holders...

Summary
As stressful as family can be at times, there are certain perks to it at times. Take for example, an escape from the horrors of a traitorous pack of friends.
After the final battle with Monarch, Marinette is almost alone. Monarch partnering with the United Injustice Brigade didn’t help her stress levels. Nor did Nivlax taking the Miraculouses for itself, nearly levelling Paris in the process. Her parents disappeared, presumably dead. When all was done, her friends still stood by their new ‘Everyday Ladybug’. When only Juleka and Alix stood by her, it was clear something had to give, either her sanity or personal life.
Enter her cousin, Jack Hallman. He managed to get Marinette out of the city before her ‘friends’ got her. Now she, Alix and Juleka are established in Parker’s City, guarding the Miraculouses under the watchful eyes of Jack’s alter ego, Saber Wolf, and his CrisisForce XL teammates.
