Summary
On a whim even he can't explain, Prince Hydron orders the capture of one Dan Kuso. He wants to see what it would take to break a human. He wants to see the fire in Dan's eyes tamed, contained, caged by devotion. He underestimates just how brightly Dan burns against the gilded cage even Hydron is trapped in. His is a spark that ignites the prince's soul, opening his eyes to the truth, the horrors that lie in the shadows of his garden of Eden.
Prince Hydron isn't anything like Dan expects. He's spoiled, capricious, and prone to fits of hysteria, true - but there's something deeper there too, a pain that seems too genuine to ignore. Dan isn't good at ignoring injustice when he sees it. Compassion is a powerful thing, wielded in the right hands; a sword, a song, a forbidden fruit held to Hydron's lips.
Dan's capture leaves Shun in a whirlwind of regret, fear, anger. He is Dan's shadow, his constant companion, and the tailwind fanning the flames left in Dan's wake - and he feels the loss of that warmth as keenly as he still feels the loss of his mother. His saving grace is that Dan is more than capable of saving himself. Shun just didn't expect him to save the prince too - but where Dan goes, Shun follows.

This is my attempt at rewritin' Bakugan New Vestroia, and writin' in general. Please don't be rude.
New Vestroia - the other world that the Battle Brawlers fought to protect from Naga - is under threat by a new group of enemies: the Vexos.
After splitting from the Perfect Core via the help of the Six Legendary Warriors, Drago travels to Earth to get his partner to New Vestroia along with the other Brawlers. There, they meet the Bakugan Brawler Resistance, led by the strong-willed Mira, and reunite with Alice's partner, Alpha Hydranoid. Their mission: free the Bakugan from Vexos control and enlighten the ignorant Vestal masses. But when dark forces lurk around every corner, and the bonds of allies start to strain, will the Brawlers be able to stand together as one?

After Zenoheld was defeated, Spectra developed a new desire to create a safe utopia for Bakugan, so ones like Zenoheld can't menace them again. Unfortunately, old habits seem to die hard. Such a dream would require an ultimate Bakugan, a different one from Drago, as he probably would not be able to make the type of difficult choices a leader needs to make. No, there needs to be another option... Helios springs to mind...
The situation isn't helped when word reaches Spectra about the Neathian/Gundalian war. Learning of the power of the Sacred Orb, Spectra reforms the Vexos for his new mission - to enter the war as a third faction, and destroy all who stand in his way of seizing the Sacred Orb for Helios. The Brawlers have now gone from one enemy to two, and a partnership with one enemy might be needed if Spectra is to be stopped...
