Summary
In ancient Greece, Diana is on a mission of vengeance to fulfil a bloodoath she swore to the gods themselves, winning the blessings of her patron goddesses with each victory, and slowly becoming the godlike champion who will one day be known as 'Wonder Woman'. Caught in the midst of an Olympian power struggle, Diana's vengeful mission is interrupted by the surprise intervention of Poseidon just as she is about to execute the next betrayer on her list, and she is instead set a new challenge that will test her strength in ways she has never been tested before.
With a motley crew of pirates, a hopelessly idealistic poet, and the cowardly war criminal she came to slay, Diana must set sail to confront creatures of ancient myth to end their reign of terror -but can her spirit withstand the journey, or is she finally ready to lay her burden down?
This story is a contribution to an even larger over-arching saga, with quite a lot of backstory that this piece can only hint at. It is mostly drama and action, but there is some sexual heroine peril in places - particularly towards the end - which are reasonably explicit.

Summary
The Arcadia series is a sweeping romance threaded through myth and adventure, pairing Lara Croft with Diana Prince. Told in shifting perspectives—from Lara and Diana themselves to Winston, Edgar, Bruce, even their loyal dog Doyle—it blends domestic intimacy with epic battles, hospital vigils with League missions, quiet laughter in kitchens with gods and monsters in ruins.
At its heart, the series is about two women learning to build a life together. Lara, mortal but relentless, and Diana, divine but searching for home.
Even in Arcadia.

When Darkseid's forces invade, Diana, aided by gods like Orion and Big Barda, battles to protect Olympus, but they are ultimately overrun. Darkseid seeks to consume the divine, and Diana faces a choice between power and self-preservation.
As the gods debate, Diana's resolve leads her to claim a shard of the Source, symbolizing her ascension. Despite fears and sacrifices, including the collapse of Olympus and the death of many gods, Diana pledges to rise from the ashes, not as a ruler but as a protector. She faces trials that challenge her essence, culminating in her acceptance of divine responsibility, despite the potential cost to her identity. Her strength and unwavering belief in hope are central themes, leading to her eventual transformation and the beginning of a new era of gods.
