Summary
It wasn't Teddy's fault. Ok, it was. But breaking into his godfather's office wasn't supposed to mean launching the both of them back in time to when their fathers were in school. If Teddy had known that would happen, he would never have gone into Harry's office in the first place.
So now they're in 1976, with no obvious way to get back home. They have no money and no shelter. Of course, this means their only option is to go back to Hogwarts. This leads to them inevitably causing things to change. Harry wants Teddy to be careful. He always has since he injured himself on the job working as an Auror.
Teddy doesn't listen. Since when did he do that? And he starts to change everything.

Summary
11-year-old Teddy Lupin is planning a surprise for his godfather's 29th birthday when he accidentally toys with a Time-Turner. It sends him back in time to August 1997, just after the Ministry of Magic has fallen. Being unable to turn to his family - now in hiding - the current Headmaster of Hogwarts is sent to collect him. Severus Snape learns the Light wins the war and takes Teddy under his wing, "adopting" him under the pseudonym Edward Snape.
Though Teddy is desperate to see and save his parents, Snape blocks him at every turn to prevent the war from being lost and meddling any further with time.
Will Teddy save the parents he never got to meet? Will the war still be won?

At first glance Thomas was sure the victim was already long gone, just a burned, mangled husk attached to tubes and wires. But he was shocked to see that the heart monitor was slowly beeping. “What happened?” Thomas immediately questioned. “There was an explosion in an abandoned building around Park Row. He was found in the rubble. He was resuscitated on the scene and coded once in the ambulance. Aside from severe burns, broken bones and trauma the worst injury seems to be a wound at his throat caused by a sharp object.” They rattled off more information as Thomas quickly prepped for surgery. Every second was going to have to count to save this one.
