“Are you saying-?” He can’t bring himself to say it, afraid to be wrong. If he’s wrong he knows he’ll continue to do what he does best, figure it the fuck out, but he’s just so tired of things being difficult.

Summary
It was supposed to be a joke. Dean only entered the contest because the neon flyer at the gas station practically yelled “Win a Free Seven-Day Cruise!” at him. He never expected it to be real—until a week later, when some overly chipper lady called to say he’d won.
All he had to do was pay a few hundred bucks. (What could go wrong, right?)
Now Dean’s on a boat he didn’t want to board in the first place… and there’s a stranger in his cabin insisting they’re roommates. The cruise line swears there’s no mistake. Dean’s not sure whether to demand a refund or see where this bizarre vacation is headed.
Or: Dean Winchester accidentally wins a cruise for two—and ends up stuck at sea with a very attractive, very infuriating stranger.

“Hi there, Mr. Winchester! How are you settling in?”
Dean planted both hands on the counter. “Yeah, so about that—what the hell do you mean settling in? There’s a guy in my room. A half-naked guy.”
Her smile didn’t falter.
“Yes, that would be your cabinmate, Mr. Novak.”
