Summary
All of them except for Ortho+Checka are meant to be interpreted as romantic, but many can be interpreted as platonic as well. The reader is gender-neutral, but more feminine adjectives will be used when referring to them. Characters will probably be a bit OOC.

Summary
Rook has watched what feels like hundreds of students at this point all attempt to strike up any sort of conversation with Vil just to be shot down straight away in the most cruel and cutting ways, no one, not a single soul in the entire school seems to have been given a chance to even get to know him.
It just makes Rook all the more determined to be the first, to be the only person able to break through that ice cold facade. To be the only person to get to know the real Vil.

Somewhere behind them, a bird chirps, Rook tilts his head to the side, a fond look in his eyes, “I did wonder, oui. But I am delighted by your choice of location for this mysterious rendezvous, it does bring back memories.”
Vil does not answer, just takes a few minutes to look around— not much has changed in this little courtyard. Perhaps some trees have lost branches, others have been pruned for aesthetic purposes, but other than that it feels familiar. It feels safe.
This is where he first met Rook.
This is where he first learned to trust him.
This is where he might lose him forever.-Very minor spoilers for book 8 events-
Days before Night Raven College faces off against Royal Sword Academy, Vil decides to clear the air with Rook and give him the freedom to choose and do as he pleases.
It does not go as planned.
