When Harry Styles was accepted into a post-grad degree, he knew he could no longer afford his flat, leaving him with three options:
1) Move back into student halls.
2) Become homeless.
3) Move in with his best (and only) friend, Niall, and three of Niall's other mates.
He went with the third option. But it was a close race.
Shame one of his roommates reminded him why he only has one friend.
If there is one thing Louis Tomlinson can't stand, it's pretentious tossers, having grown up around enough of them. If there is one thing he can't live without, it would be his friends. So he was proper thrilled to move in with his best mates and a couple of other lads.

Summary

And it’s that weakness for agreeing to Dean’s stupid plans that has Sam in too-big shoulder pads and a too-big jersey with Richards emblazoned on the back in the middle of a Halloween house party full of people he doesn’t know.
Dean had insisted on keeping his costume a surprise, and Sam definitely had not prepared to be dressed up.
Someone squeals as the song changes again, some electro beat that Sam has no hope of recognizing. He stares down at the contents in his cup. Fuck it.
Or: In a world where monsters don't exist, and Sam and Dean are raised normally by two parents, things between them come to a head at a Halloween party. Some things are inevitable like that.

“I…what?” Dean spluttered, staring wide-eyed at the vaguely Sam-shaped lump in the dark corner, feeling like someone had just barricaded his only emergency exit.
“I’m still leaving,” Sam said, like Dean didn’t know. Like he hadn’t seen the acceptance letter, threatened to tear it up, stormed outside with Sam right behind him shouting things like this life is killing me and I need this, Dean. “But Dad doesn’t get back until Monday. Until then, we can have this. If you want.”
