Summary
The noises in a hospital can be overwhelming. The sound of talking, feet shuffling from room to room. Machines beeping in distress on each floor. Patients receive a mix of good news and bad. One can never get used to the hospital. Why would they? Fifty percent of the time it's not good news.
After Barry unfortunately is on the receiving end of a fellow with a bad temper and a gun, Dundee rushes to bring him to the hospital. The adrenaline had blocked off the rising anxiety but it would soon come crashing down on him.
Irwin Dundee never liked hospitals.

The keys had literally left the Sultan's ignition and Barry was about to get out of the driver's seat when he suddenly heard Dundee's voice howling through the night. He turns to see his husband hunched over in pain. He let out an elongated sigh and stuck the key back in the ignition, the vehicle rumbling to life once again. “God fucking damnit Dee.”

After getting ready for today and locking up his beachside home, his mobile began to ring. He lifted it up to see who was calling and he stood there in slight shock once he read the caller ID. Bollingbrooke Penitentiary He quickly answered with shaking hands, a breath escaping as the call connected, “Dee?!”.“Hi Barry.” God it felt so good to hear the other man’s voice coming through that phone. “Can you come see me, husband ?” Barry’s heart stutters at the tone of voice Dundee is using. It sounded so gravelly and low. “Of course I can, I’ll be there soon.” -
