Summary
The small town opened before her like an hand, and beyond it, only rolling hills called her name.
She sprang onto the windowsill, filled her lungs with the freshness of the world, and then she was off.
Only the line of salt, inadvertently broken by the light stepping of a boot, held any evidence of her presence.

"You would keep a prisoner forever, Majesty? That is some rather mustache-twirling-villainy on your part, though you seem to like playing the role of Broken Prince better there days."
He does not rise to her sorry bait. His exquisite eyes are closed against the wind.
"You know very well the title of Prisoner is not the one I have in mind for you."

Summary
He reached out his hand and she took it, gently resting her palm on his, but applying no force. He thought of the first time he’d reached out his hand to her, walking along a nameless river. Of all the times she had held his hand since, of the way her grip tightened sometimes, to comfort, to reassure, to apologise. For a moment he was transfixed, lost in the depth of emotion that a hand, offered freely and with no ulterior motive, had been able to convey. He brought his second hand to join the first and they both tightened instinctively around hers.

Summary
“I mean it,” she said. “Don’t kill anyone, Astarion. You’ve gotten what you wanted. Seven thousand lives was enough.”
“I don’t take orders from you anymore. You just said so, yourself.”
“The moment you kill someone,” Rose replied, “is the moment I'll know that my next task is to stop you.”
“Darling,” Astarion grinned, “I would sincerely like to see you try.”

The Vampire Ascendent has crossed a line. Eleven years after making the biggest mistake of her life and losing the man she loved, tiefling wizard (now Archmage) Rosalie decides it’s time to put this Astarion in the ground for good. Hopefully, both her head and her heart are strong enough to see this awful task through to its end.

Summary
There's something to be said for those moments in-between missions, the ones where you manage to hold off on worrying about the tadpoles in your brain. The brief instances of levity in which you can afford to appreciate the beauty hidden in this strange, precarious new world you find yourself navigating.
The moments where rubies sparkle in a new light behind a curtain of long lashes, the mischievous, twinkling stars casting a blue glow glossing off silvery hair. Pretty things seem suddenly far too intent to watch your mouth run away from you, especially where a particular traveling companion who you just can't seem to stay away from is concerned.
Can you merely be Astarion's mirror in all this? Can your honeyed words break through his bitter smiles? Or have your compliments doomed you both from the moment they left your lips?

Summary
After leaving Szarr Entertainment in the wake of a tumultuous - deliberately engineered - scandal, Astarion Ancunín has rebuilt his acting career, from the blacklisted ground up. Through a heavily doctored narrative of queer reclamation, he's finally making a name for himself, and hoping to claim prestige (and maybe a few awards) through the leading role in a historical biopic about the openly gay elven oracle, Aerthwyn Capaxath.
The only problem is, Aerthwyn Capaxath is the worst person that ever lived (or died). Just ask Dr. Rosalie Frostsong, a thoroughly unwilling expert on the subject.

(A celebrity/academic, reluctant workplace allies turned friends-to-lovers, modern AU... a.k.a. the silliest thing i've ever written. I hope people enjoy!)

Summary
“Adultery,” Raphael repeats plainly. “Infidelity.”
“Yes.” Astarion tosses his quill down. “It appears that I’ve spent the last few months drinking, fucking, and compelling people of our government. I recall none of it, mind you. But given Lilith’s absence, Halsin insisting that I not be left alone, and Shadowheart desperately praying for my damned soul—I can conclude that I have dragged myself into a bender that has wreaked havoc on my life as I knew it."
A sequel to the events of Hellish Rebuke. This story will not make sense if you have not read its predecessor.
