Summary
Hwoarang just wanted to play Virtua Fighter with his absolutely-not-friend Jin Kazama, but when an overconfident Jin loses a bet, along with his pride and dignity, to Ling Xiaoyu, suddenly everything becomes utterly serious for Jin, really, really fun for Xiaoyu, and absolutely confusing for Hwoarang.
Now Jin Kazama is forced (he really isn’t) to coach Hwoarang to at least make him learn how to actually punish and, most of all, stop mashing those damn buttons.Because now, they are going to a local turnament (they really don’t need to), and Hwoarang needs to make it to the top 8 ( he really, really doesn't).
Naturally and predictably, Jin Kazama takes the task way too seriously so, logically and inevitably, a whole training anime arc ensues.

Set in the immediate aftermath of Tekken 3, this first volume of a bigger series, follows Jin Kazama and the people around him through a single day at The Mishima Polytechnic High School. As the world reacts to the power vacuum left by Heihachi Mishima, Jin struggles to fill out a career path form while his friends try to pull him back from the edge of his own darkness.

Summary

"What was it after?" asked Cid, who was now properly paying attention.
Cloud shrugged. Then he took another breath.
You're over it. You're over it. You're over it.
"It said I was part of a project," he said dryly.
Cloud hallucinates. Voices sometimes, or music -- it's hard to tell. It's just another consequence of Jenova's encroaching presence in his DNA, and four years after Meteorfall everyone's more or less adapted to it and other oddities associated with being not quite human. Mostly.
What begins as a chance encounter with something that isn't Jenova soon leads to a fight for survival that can no longer be contained in the spaces between numbers, as Cloud tries to keep himself together and finally put his past behind him.
