    I frown, missing some piece of context. I push on my elbow to lean forward and see what he is referring to and widen my eyes as it finally clicks.
    “Oh no, those are stretch marks,” I explain. “They are tears in the elastic fibers of the skin.”
    “Are those also stretch marks?” He asks pointing to somewhere else.
    …
    “Grace?” He calls but all I can hear is my increasing heartbeat.

    As Grace’s body changes from starvation, Rocky pays more attention to its details, some of which aren’t from good memories.

    Ship Engineer ‘Rocky’ of the B.L.I.P.-A knows that he’s going to die in Tau Ceti, he's known since the day that he joined the taskforce as their chief mathematician and engineer. That hasn’t stopped him from holding out all alone in his ailing ship, trying desperately to complete the mission on his own.

    God willing, of course. Earth is doomed if he doesn’t.

    So, when an alien astrophage-powered craft from another star comes into view, his only hope is that this is the Hail Mary that he has been praying for his entire life.

    All Simon ever wanted was to live a normal life. He accepted years ago in prison that he would die there. At least he got to live. Besides the occasional new inmates trying to pick a fight with him, it was decent.

    But when a mysterious woman named Dr. Ava offers him a chance at freedom, he takes it. All he has to do is poke and prod at some alien sample from a distant moon. It sounded easy enough.

    Now he was on SHIELD's most wanted list. Every agent in the city was looking for him. That included the cities resident Star-Spider, who definitely wasn't told what Simon looked like under all the alien goo.
