Summary
Nat slows, hands in her jacket pockets and brows slightly raised because she’s never exactly been close with Lottie.
Yet there she is, peeling a menacing gaze away from the group of boys and settling a soft one upon Natalie once she spots her, all long brown hair and tan skin and god, Nat is always fucking winded at how tall she is.

Summary
They just sit quietly for a while, each fueled by the other’s steady breathing. The darkness in the room presses down on her with a weight she can’t describe, or explain. She feels it the most on her chest, heavy with the pressure.

“I don’t know, Natty. We can figure it out together, if you want.”
