Charlie Spring is a seasoned voice actor. He often works at Bound & Spoken Studios, where he has befriended Tara (voice director), Darcy (recording engineer) and Imogen (administrator). Nick Nelson is new to the world of audiobook recording, but his agent sends him to Bound & Spoken to fill in for another actor last-minute.
Sparks fly as Nick and Charlie co-narrate a historical romance, playing World War I soldiers who fall in love in the trenches. Their characters are sure to survive against all odds, but will the two narrators be able to survive three days in the booth?

Summary
Charlie is struggling to afford his education. When he's approached by law enforcement to become an informant about the potential crimes of one of his uni classmates, Nick Nelson, he jumps at the chance to line his pockets. After all, Nick is the youngest son of French notorious crime boss, Stephane Fournier -- surely he knows everything going on inside his father's business, and he must be just as crooked.
Nick Nelson wants nothing to do with his father, and wishes that everyone would stop assuming he's just like him. What he really wants is to become a primary school teacher, to guide children on the right path before they're "ruined" by their parents. Like he was by his father.
But what will happen when Charlie and Nick meet, and their first impressions of each other are so very different from reality?
