Summary
“I love you, Ty,” Carlos says finally, trying to breathe through the pain. “I love you, okay? If I could, I would’ve loved you forever. Don’t - don’t forget that.”
“Carlos.” TK sounds wary. “Why does that sound like goodbye?”
Carlos doesn’t want to answer that. He closes his eyes again as a tear drips down his cheek, leaving a damp trail that cuts through the dust and blood streaking his face. He’s so exhausted; he wants to sleep so fucking badly, wants to curl up in TK’s arms and forget about the pain currently riddling his entire body. He can hear TK yelling but he can’t find the words to respond, just twitches his fingers enough to pat the surface of the radio.
~ 3x18 spec fic (started before the promos etc) in which carlos gets trapped in the collapsed building
