It's so comfortable and sweet that Shepherd can only find rest when Garrus is with her in bed. The serenity and the quiet, peaceful and warm mood after they wake up. Especially love the description of Garrus's body temperature being a bit higher than Shepherd's, because it does make sense for the next scene when people fall asleep feeling cold, they will snuggle into the nearest warmth subliminally.

Steve watched the sway of her skirt as her hips moved, his jaw clenching with loath. He couldn’t stand her wearing those kinds of things outside of the house, but he didn’t want to hail down on her like an authoritarian. This is so great! Telling a story that happened way back then when there were no collectors nor reapers and everything that led everyone to Normandy and that put Shepherd in the spotlight hadn't happened is so adorable. Shepherd at first didn't trust the story, which makes sense to me. Love the narrative.

很有趣的构想，一直以来不太喜欢有人brag about their sex experiences，不过战争背景减轻了不适感，而且作者写得很有趣，听的和分享的都收获了点什么，在跨种族上会显得更像生物课（？），整个潜在的被谈论的不爽基本被消磨了，ME3的背景明显就是全宇宙面临“明天和死亡哪个先来？”的终极问题，所以其他都是小事。

In fact, no one on the ship is convinced it's fake, except Garrus and Shepard themselves.
Cue these two idiots trying to convince everyone that this is definitely fake and not at all real, and that warm, lovey feeling in their chests? Fake, too.

I can never get enough banter from the Normandy crew. The bet pool is even funnier. I see people leave comments about their teenage behavior, and they do sometimes behave like teenagers in the game. You know, adults can do immature stuff. Most people grow their bodies, not their minds. Langston is an asshole. Confirmed. And his only goodness lies in helping these two get to know their hearts—and the truth that even if the whole galaxy is going to be doomed, they still have time to be a lovely couple. And it is so caring of Garrus to insist that Shepard sleep on the bed. Insomnia really takes a toll on mental state, and being unable to sleep or having nightmares causes me much pain personally. In this regard, I can relate to Shepard. Don't like the idea of public sex but it's fine.

记得是好久之前惊为天人的作品，个人很少在中文作品里找到如此鲜美的creepy味道，印象里更多能在英文作品里找到，但写得很好的都很少。这种心理动势的微妙描写和粘稠的质感真的挺少有的，虽然作者很久没有更新了，但每次回看还是觉得收获良多，在字里行间里让我发掘了一些*Trapper, Keeper*（在此推荐一下我心中的神文）的味道，很喜欢，私以为中文能把这种感觉描写出来是很难的。
