Summary
When one wakes up in a different position, there is cause for alarm. When one realizes they have been transported to another dimension, there is worry. When one comes to terms to the fact they've reincarnated into a video series that they only vaguely remember? It comes to fear, but, hope.
Or perhaps, I'm merely coping with the fact - I, out of all individuals, woke up in Murder Drones. Sure, not terrible, not great either, but at least if I stayed smart I could reasonably survive with a few changes to the outcome of the story. If it weren't for the fact I woke up in Outpost 7, an outpost that had previously fallen to Murder Drones before I even managed to wake.
But I wasn't going to give up just yet. I refused to, terrified as I was. Because for certainty, if I had given up - I would be dead, and so, in the act of self-preservation, I would face on the challenges of Copper 9 with or without help. And maybe, just maybe, eke out an existence that wasn't so terrible. I just had to survive getting to Outpost 3 first.
