There’s a brief pause, then a mechanical whirring, almost like a heartbeat.
Machines infused with such joy must be dismantled. Improper disassembly... is punishable by law. Remember this well, for in the hands of the wrong creator, joy can become a weapon—and those who wield it must face the consequences.
The static shifts slightly, and a monotone female voice chimes in, cold and robotic:
May the boundless horizon be undone.
The tape flickers, crackling as the voice fades into static once more.

Sure, she's loosing sleep from weird Solver nightmares and has an annoying, unwelcome guest in her head, but there's also a lot to be happy about. She's got an amazing boyfriend, and the two of them are getting closer to their other weirdly hot friend. She's got an actual normal non-romantic friend. And also Lizzy, who is... frequently around and maybe not as terrible of a person as she used to be? She's rebuilding her relationship with her parents, and literally rebuilding her mom. She's about to graduate. She's basically robot god. Life is the best it's been in a while.
Surely nothing could go catastrophically awry and kick off a new series of revelatory shenanigans, right?
