Their families had some strange unspoken tension, they fell into different social circles, and when Lizzy started picking on Uzi during high school, Doll decided to join in. And that was before the whole prom incident, where they had tried to kill each other.
So it came as a real shock to Uzi when Doll decided to save her life. And an even bigger one when she offered to train her in the Solver.
I mean, she'd be stupid not to take it, right?
OR: Instead of going Solver Mode in Episode 4, Uzi is saved by Doll, who then offers to help her control her Solver abilities better. As you would expect, this changes things!
