Summary
Marinette has been managing a small business, working as class president, helping out at the bakery, doing work as the Guardian, saving the city, and possibly the world daily. Sadly, wasn't any closer to finding Hawkmoth's identity. She was also stretched thin and not at her peak mental health. Regardless, she had her Court established and with that, she acquired a support system to help her with the 'Lila Problem' and with fighting the akumas.
However, with Batfamily finding out about the situation in Paris during a penpal activity her school made her go through, changes are coming. If these changes include finding more friends, family, and maybe a gorgeous boyfriend, who was she to say no?

Summary
Marinette is tired, after years of fighting she is no nearer to defeating Hawmoth, add to that the arrival of an apparent mythomaniac obsessed with ruining her civilian life and we can say that the fact that she hasn't attracted any butterflies yet was a miraculous thing in itself, but if things keep going the way they are going, that won't last for much longer.
It is after a particularly shocking incident that she comes to the realization that staying in Paris is too dangerous, leading her to make the choice to seek a new place to live, and Gotham City seemed to be the right place for her.
