Yoongi closes his eyes, swallows the bitterness and pulls away. "Alright." And then he changes his mind and comes back at Jungkook and says, "But I swear if you pull anything on my children, I will haunt you. I will find you even if you hide in another Universe and I will torture you and I will make sure you go to hell. Then I will kill myself and I will go to hell after you so I can torture you for the rest of the existence. Are we clear?"
Jungkook pushes himself up from the sofa. His shoulder brushes Yoongi's chest. "Don't forget to take your lunch." Disregarding Yoongi's words just like that, as if they're not worth anything, like all of his worries are pointless.
Or, alternatively: the radio keeps talking about the the Dragon King's violent raids. An ordinary mechanic Min Yoongi calls it a fairy tale. A GISAN officer Kim Seokjin isn't so sure.

Yoongi slows down and pulls up, parking half into the driveway. Jungkook doesn’t get out quite yet; instead, he turns to Yoongi. “So. I know this is a reach, and I don’t know if you’ve made friends out here yet, but my friends and I do like a monthly kickback sort of thing? The next one is next Saturday. Would you and your kids want to come?”
Oh. So this is a mutual feeling. It isn’t just Yoongi clinging to the only semblance of friendship he’s gotten in literal years.
“I think I would like that. I’ll check with them too,” Yoongi admits with a smile, rubbing the back of his neck. He’s not sure what to do next, it’s been that long. “Um, should I give you my number?”

The question takes him off guard, and for a moment, all Yoongi can do is stare at Jeongguk. His glittering eyes are steady, almost challenging, but there’s a quiet vulnerability in them too, a flicker of something Yoongi isn’t sure Jeongguk meant to show.
Yoongi swallows hard, glancing down at the remaining cards in his hand. He flips through them slowly, thoughtfully, before plucking one from the middle and setting it down in front of Jeongguk.
