Evil twin, as Dustin would say, his voice low and incriminating. Ultraman type shit. Will considers relaying the situation on their upcoming weekly call to make the current situation less unsettling.
The guy is cautiously smiling back now – a reflection of Will’s unconscious expression at the thought of Dustin’s clarification – and it doesn’t falter, even once Will loses his amusement. Instead, the grin widens, almost too big for his face and definitely too big for Mike’s usual range of expression. His eyebrows rise above the rim of his lenses.

PSA: THERE ARE NO INAPPROPRIATE UNDERAGE RELATIONSHIPS IN THIS. i only put the underage marker because the party is still in high school at this point.hi!! i'm super excited to start writing a stranger things group chat fic!! if i'm being honest i don't have a real great idea of the roadmap of this fic. i really just want this to be a feel-good, coming of age, group chat fic. it's going to be slowburn and flip between a couple different group chats. at this point in the story, will, el, jonathan, argyle, and joyce are still living in california, the binghams are in utah, and the rest of the squad is in hawkins (including hopper). it's not going to be completely off of the plot (el still has her powers, the upside-down still exists), but for the sake of the story, we're going to kinda just assume that the upside-down and all the creatures aren't bothering our kiddos, because god knows they've been traumatized enough. so yeah, that's that. hope you enjoy!

Summary
