“Don’t call me that, freak,” Rin glared at Shidou.
“Feisty aren’t we?” Shidou replied.
“Get to the point or get out of my way. Not everyone wants to talk to you. I’m not sure anyone wants to talk to you,” Rin said in an icy tone.
“Yeesh, you hurt my heart!” Shidou responded in a lilting tone, “But anyways… where is your brother?”
“I’m surprised you don’t have a radar that can track him down,” Rin started to move past Shidou, there was no point in continuing this meaningless conversation.
Shidou grabbed his shoulder, “Don’t leave me just yet~ I just wanted to know ‘cuz I haven’t seen him all morning and he hasn’t replied to my texts…”
Shidou’s face was twisting into one of his classic grins. It sickened and irritated Rin in a way that made him want to claw his skin off.

Summary
Rover struggled with his own feelings; it was like a spell had been put on him by Scar himself. He couldn't understand how Scar's charm worked on him - especially after he had done horrible things all around Huanglong, burnt down the village just now, taking away innocent people's homes. He was unhinged, dangerous, manipulative, yet so... charming and irresistible. This was one of Scar's strengths. He hated this; hated the whole situation Scar had dragged him into.
He knew how wrong this was, how messed up. Scar was his enemy. He should defeat him, not desiring him.

Douma blinked, confused.
