    Rob Lucci was the best agent in Cypher Pol number 9. They already have confirmed the boy exists. According to the vermin in the trash dump, the kid usually hangs around the mountains. Some say he’s staying with bandits; others have heard him mention the village. Either way, he exists. Has for over 14 years.
    Luffy is what they called him. Tremendously strong with a freaky power.
    A devil fruit in East Blue… was it a gift from his father?
    Regardless, he had to be taken care of. They wouldn’t find him in his home-turf. They have been searching for a few days now. Clearly, the boy knew how to hide. They went towards the mountains now. One of the filths knew the location of these so-called bandits he could be with. The Dadan family was well known on the island. With a bounty of 6.000.000 Berri, Curly Dadan has earned herself a reputation in the area. She was the most likely to willingly hide someone like this Luffy. Likely for some form of compensation from the revolutionary...

    After a fight she barely remembers, Nami wakes up in a jungle she's never been in before. Her confusion doesn't get any lessened when she runs into three young boys, one of which is definitely a smaller version of her captain.

    She needs to get back to her own time, her own adventure. The crew will die without her for sure. But until she can figure out how to do that, she might as well hang out and make sure these insane kids don't die, which might be harder than she initially thinks.

    And something about all this just feels weird...

    In a different universe, Portgas D. Ace keeps running.

    And instead of receiving a magma fist to the chest courtesy of Akainu, he gets to watch a blinding beam of light eradicate Monkey D. Luffy's heart while he stands less than two feet away. A different series of world events kick into motion, one of which is the unveiling of a new, unique human weapon under the designation ICARUS, or IX-0.

    IX-0 is under orders to patrol and vet the pirates trying to enter into the New World, and it's been going great. About a year and a half after its deployment, it encounters a small, captainless crew with dreams each more impossible than the one before. That should be the end of it, but IX-0 finds itself following them into the New World in search of something it can't explain.

    There's just something about the Strawhat Pirates.
