Summary
When they arrive and make their way into the cave, the first thing Jimin does is drop his pack and hold out an apple to Jeongguk, who looks surprised that Taehyung's come back so soon, and with a friend to boot. "Eat it," Jimin insists when Jeongguk tells him that he doesn't need the food. "It's plan one out of like, seven hundred shitty ways we can think of to get your ass out of here."
Jeongguk takes a bite out of the apple and looks at the red flame warily. It stays stuck to the ground.
Taehyung shrugs at this, setting his pack down too. "One down, six hundred ninety-nine more to go."
[in which jeongguk is the spirit of the mountain and taehyung decides to seek him out, if only because the voice that beckons to him sounds incredibly, incredibly lonely]
