God. He was too tired for this shit.
“Good to know,” Peter continued, finished with his inspection of a teenage-boy’s bedroom, then he focused on Stiles. Stiles hoped the expression on his face was the creepy discomfort of being in what amounted to a kid’s bedroom and not something stupid, like pity. He didn’t think he could handle pity right now.
In counterpoint to his wishes, Peter’s gaze travelled from his face, to his neck and landed on his torso with an intensity that suggested he could see beneath his shirt and he didn’t like what he found. “You’re hurt.”
Stiles rolled his eyes. “Yeah,” he bit out, squeezing his eyes closed because fuck, even that hurt. “Thanks for that, I had no idea. What are you? Sherlock?”

Summary
Stiles is having a terrible day. Worse than any other day he's had in the last few months which is saying something because after the fateful night Stiles dragged Scott with him into the woods and got Scott turned into a werewolf, his life has been a huge shit-fest.
Maybe that's why Scott doesn't care about him anymore. His every action shows that Stiles is no longer a priority. He's abandoned Stiles to die in a pool with an ungrateful asshole, chosen Allison over him at every turn, and didn't care to ask if he was okay after getting the shit kicked out of him by a geriatric. Maybe its because he blames Stiles for everything. Stiles might feel bad if he wasn't certain that Scott's life has improved since then, unlike his own.
Now it's the anniversary of his Mother's death, and he's alone, sobbing his heart out against the cold marble of her tomb stone, his father's grave beside hers. For the first time, Scott isn't here to walk him back to his empty home.
He's just begun mustering up the will to leave when he feels hot, moist air against the back of his neck.
Turning slowly, his eyes lock with the vibrant red of a very feral looking alpha werewolf.
