"From the information he had on the target, Kayron, although menacing, was not innately hostile towards any and all humans that dared to step foot on his property. He prayed it was true, because he was still soaking wet from the rain, it was still cold and he doubted he could take on a pure blooded vampire head-on in battle either way.
And besides all that, the Vampire Lord stood across the glade.
While the client mentioned that Kayron had a tendency to take in guests, it was still a surprise to see him standing in a wet, muddy glade. Just calmly watching him with an unreadable expression. Looking down on him."Vildred, a vampire hunter, is tasked by a client to go after an especially tricky target, a request no sane person would accept. Afterall, the target is one of the most powerful and feared vampires on Orbis. As he finds himself in the vampire's claws, Vildred starts to question what he has been taught about these creatures his entire life.
