Summary
It runs round Ed’s head all the live long fuckin’ day.
They should. Take things slow. They fucking should.
Then, seven full nights after their first kiss back, seven nights of giggling stories and pressing into each other daintily and Stede’s shining eyes, Ed changes his mind.

Summary
“Stede,” he peeps, the headrush leaving him dizzy. “You’re early.”
He doesn’t twitch even a single muscle in an attempt to move, frozen beneath Stede’s disparaging gaze as he is; the dark edge of something dangerous shadowing his eyes.
“Seems like you didn’t need me after all,” Stede says with a disappointed click of his tongue. "Were you just so desperate you couldn't wait for me? Is that why I come home to my kitten misbehaving? Is that it?”
Ed mewls pathetically, and Stede adds—
“Like a cat in heat?”

Summary
In Ed's experience, there's nothing quite so effective at snuffing out a crush than the disappointment of a mediocre roll in the hay.
So, Ed has a plan: One quick fuck to get this crush on Stede out of his system.
It's a good plan. Solid, simple, and definitely, one hundred per cent foolproof.
Right?
