He flinched back, and looked down to find the skeletal head of doe-eyed Thestral following the path of his hand in an attempt to lick off the blood that coated his arm. Summary
When Harry dies, he's greeted with a quiet voice that says, "I've been watching you."
He stands, slowly. "Excuse me?" Harry asks the boy. It's a boy who spoke, one with black wavy hair, and fine, fine features that don't match his dead brown eyes. If it weren't for those eyes, Harry probably would've glanced away by now, overwhelmed. Instead, those dead eyes draw him in. Harry rather thinks it should be the opposite.
"You didn't have to die, you know.”

The sight of a small figure gently stroking Harry’s hair had him freezing in his tracks. His wand was out at once.
“Stop!” he barked, fear making his voice tight. Enormous, watery blue eyes turned to peer at him and he lowered his wand a little. A shuddering breath escaped him. He swallowed. “Hello, Dobby.”
“Hello, Draco Malfoy,” Dobby said mournfully, turning to look back at Harry and stroke his hair. “We is needing to get Harry Potter into a proper bed.”—
It had been a mistake, but it was easily the worst one of Draco’s life. He might never be able to atone for it, but trying to started with this: keeping an unconscious Harry safe and protected from the outside world at Spinners End. Snape had warned him that after what had happened, Harry might never wake, and that if he did, he wouldn’t be the same. It didn’t matter to Draco though. He would stay till the end, no matter what that end might be.

Summary
As a little boy, his mother used to tell him that life was like a waterfall trying to fit inside a glass. At some point, the overflow was inevitable.
Later on, much later, he would wonder if it had been fate that led him to what was, no doubts, the rashest decision of his life. The right circumstances, that one single drop enough for the glass to spill.
After his confrontation with Draco at the beginning of sixth year, it isn’t Tonks the one who finds a petrified Harry on the floor of the Hogwarts Express. And, now, Harry is gone.
