“Ahsoka…” An all too familiar voice breathed out.
Her eyes snapped open and she had flipped onto her feet, white blades raised defensively within an instant. Mostly because Anakin Skywalker was right in front of her, not Vader. But it was still the same man who was actively trying to put a lightsaber through her heart less than fifteen minutes ago.
“Ahsoka,” His voice was soft. “It’s me… Anakin.” Her old master's face was deeply conflicted as he peacefully raised his hands in the air. “You’re safe.”
She held back her scoff. She knew she was in the past, it was painfully obvious at this point, but that didn’t stop her from being wary.

“We are so screwed.” Cristina sighed.

“You are scared of me,” Melina noted, her widow instincts on alert. She opened her mouth only to close it soon after. “Was I in your dream?” She was hesitant to ask and Natasha saw the fear tucked away in her eyes.
“Do you remember when I hurt my knee in third grade?” Natasha asked instead.
Melina frowned again, in confusion and displeasure. Her hands fell back at her sides. “Yes, you had a patella fracture after falling off your bike. You were being reckless.”
Natasha scoffed. “I was not.”
“You tried to do a trick at the skatepark when you learned to ride a bike less than a week prior.” Melina raised an unimpressed eyebrow.
Natasha's cheeks warmed at the reminder.

Daisy hid her body behind the rather large equipment for only a moment. Right before revealing herself to the unknown variable, with a gun pointed at their face.
Only it wasn't a hidden Hydra agent like she was expecting.

It was the complete opposite.
It was a kid.
No older than eleven, moppy blonde hair, teal eyes, drenched in the orange goop from the gel-matrix pods. He was in nothing but a white undergarment, and there was a chained bracelet on his right wrist. He was shaking profusely out of fear, like a tree in the mists of a tornado. The kid held his trembling arms up in front of his face, blocking it from the barrel of Daisy’s assault rifle.
