Summary
Lando can see the smirk on Oscar’s face and he wants to smack it off or… maybe kiss it off but then he shakes that thought.
Oscar looked at him and pouted in mock sympathy. “Aw. Are you trying to seduce me?”
“What do I have to fucking do for you to react to something. It’s not fair. Do I have to fucking sit in your lap or something?”
“I mean, you could try. Wouldn’t do much,” Oscar challenged.
“Bullshit. Even you would break if you had me on your lap.”
“Prove it,” Oscar invites. He laid his arms out on either side of his head on the top of the couch.
Or
Lando and Oscar are roommates in college. They start playing a game where they have to try and turn each other on until one of them folds. Lovely idea.

Summary
"Tell me, Captain," the siren drawled, lounging against the tank as if he wasn't a prisoner. "Do you make a habit of collecting pretty things you don't understand?"
Hanbin tapped his fingers against the glass, amused. "Oh, I know plenty about you, Siren."
"You really believe you can use me to find your treasure?"
Hanbin leaned in, a smirk tugging at his lips. "I don't just believe it, sweetheart. I know it."
"Then let's hope your greed kills you quickly, Pirate King. I'd hate to watch you beg when the sea finally takes you."
Sung Hanbin, the infamous Pirate King, is on a quest for the Heart of the Sea, a legendary treasure worth more than the entire royal navy’s collection. His key to finding it? Zhang Hao, a siren who despises his guts, let alone has the desire to guide him. Captured and imprisoned aboard the Velvet Briar, Hao is given a choice: lead them to the treasure or rot in captivity. As the two navigate their tense alliance, sharp insults turn into begrudging cooperation, and feigned kindness begins to blur into something more. All of it makes Hanbin wonder...did he capture the siren, or has the siren ensnared him instead?

Summary
At his first meeting with the matchmaker, she’d surveyed him over the half-moons of her glasses and asked what he was looking for.
“I don’t know,” he’d replied, shamefaced. “I thought—I mean, aren’t you supposed to do that for me?”
She’d smiled in pity. Zhang Hao had felt like he was back at high school. “Well, that’s okay. We can look together, Hao-ssi. I’m sure we’ll find someone pleasing for you.”
Yes, he wants to say to her now, look how well that turned out.

Summary
“Harua needs stability. Certainty. I can't be chasing something that I'm unsure will work out in the future. It'll only hurt us both in the long run, if I try something then fail.”
Why? What dreams did you have to give up to raise him? Yudai wants to ask. And then a second later: So how do you know we will work out? What gives you the courage to keep going, and what makes you want to stop? How would I know if I’m someone worth the gamble for the future?
Alternatively,
Fuma should have known better than to let himself fall in love with the baker next door. Yudai just needs someone to have a little faith in him. Harua really wants to eat all the bread in the world – and hopefully get taller in the process.

Summary
Nicholas hadn’t planned to do it. Not here, not like this with grease on his fingers and a soda can sweating on the table. But looking at Euijoo, across from him in the dim halo of Taipei’s streetlights, eyes soft and smile steady, something in his chest cracked open. There was no perfect moment. There was only this one.
“Lets get married." The words slipped out before he could catch them.
Euijoo blinked. “What?”
Nicholas sat up straighter, eyes wide, like he couldn’t believe he’d actually said it.
or
He’s always given Euijoo rings - plastic ones from claw machines, matching ones copied straight from their favourite movie, and delicate little pieces the younger never took off. But now Nicholas finds himself holding a ring that’s different from all the others.
