Summary
Peter’s grown son is taking the next step to maturity, and his parents must adjust to his new-found autonomy. And, because of Fate’s idea of irony, the young man’s life becomes entwined with that of Peter’s old partner in a very profound way. Suddenly, two men who have shared a secret for two decades begin to wonder if it was time to expose a long-buried untruth that was perpetrated to protect their children. They could only worry and wonder about the consequences. A final story that will wrap up “A Child of Their Own” series.

Summary
Eventually, Peter and Elizabeth’s son is ready to leave the nest, and that’s a hard concept for two doting parents to swallow. One last vacation together winds up being an adventure that includes connecting with someone Peter once considered to be very much a part of his family. This fic can be read without reading others in the “A Child of Their Own” series that preceded it.

Peter and Elizabeth are raising a son bearing the name of another. Both mother and father are adapting to being first-time parents, and El thinks they are doing a decent job. Although part of “A Child of Their Own” series, this can be read as a stand-alone fic.

Summary
After feigning his death and leaving New York, Neal didn’t realize how much he’d miss his old life. His sense of wistful nostalgia revolved around a lot of little things as well as one really big event. He wasn’t going to be there for the birth of Peter and Elizabeth’s child. Thankfully, a bald embedded spy kept him in the loop. Although part of the “A Child of Their Own” series, this can be a stand-alone read.

Summary
This 5-part series is an extended queue of long drabbles and/or very brief snippet stories that I’ve written over time which reference different episodes in the White Collar series. I’ve divided it into seasons, and they play out pretty much in chronological order, although not every episode has a corresponding story. The title that I’ve given each one appears in italics, and the actual episode name is below it in parentheses. Hopefully, some will jog your memory in a good way. Please enjoy and feel free to comment on any you particularly like. I have my favorites as well.

Summary
Just a quickie post set during Season 6 when Peter has to decide if he’s willing to let Neal continue with the Pink Panther caper. The emergence of Matthew Keller has Peter spooked, but Neal is adamant about going through with a dangerous plan to gain his freedom from the FBI. Maybe for the first time, Peter gets a reality check and discovers that he really understands Neal.

The relationship between a Federal Agent and his confidential informant becomes complicated when the lines of attachment become blurred. Elizabeth knows certain things before her husband ever has a clue, but women seem to be much more savvy regarding matters of the heart.

Summary
At some point in their lives, probably everybody has been faced with some kind of fear. If that terror is completely overwhelming, it can become so crippling that stricken individuals cannot seem to move forward. Neal is no different and has endured his share of terrible experiences that have threatened his sense of self. This is the story of how he learned from a very early age to master his demons and make them work for him instead of destroying him. In the end, that enabled him to save a very important person’s life.

Neal bucks the system and decides to celebrate the yuletide season in his own unique way. Just a quickie to fill a White Collar holiday prompt that must relate in some way to a traditional seasonal movie. To be truthful, this is just my humble version of a fluffy Hallmark Christmas offering.

Summary
After Neal gets Peter’s call while he’s hiding out in Cape Verde, a fleeing felon begins to examine the life he has led. Maybe it was time to be brutally honest about who he was and what he wanted his future to be. This is a companion piece to the previously posted story, “So, What Are You Going to Do?”

Summary
Neal’s commutation hearing is in a few days, and those closest to him are asking some pointed questions. A possibly reformed con man doesn’t have an answer for any of them.

Summary
This story offering is a bit more of a fantasy. It roughly follows White Collar canon for the most part except that Peter and Neal are a little unique and different. We find out the two adversaries both have special abilities, and that adds a whole other dimension to their relationship. And there’s also a whole new dynamic at the end that digresses from canon.

Summary
Of course, I had to post a fiction for tomorrow’s Thanksgiving celebration. This one spans the years Neal is on parole, and it depicts how the holiday tradition is rather elusive when it comes to a slippery felon.
