Tim Key is in the wind, leaving only a strange text message and his five-foot tall teddy bear behind. Uncharacteristically worried, Alex turns to Greg for help to locate the poet-on-the-lam. But it seems that Fatberg isn't going to leave anything to chance when it comes to tracking down his best and, to be fair, only friend.
Just a silly little fic in which Fatberg is sentient, can do magic (limited) and wants to help his bestie out in a tough time.

Summary

Alex doesn’t smile then, because that’s not who he is, but Tim can see that he wants to, because that’s who Tim is. “Alright,” he says. “I won’t, then.”
“Good,” Tim says, and before he can tack any joke onto that, Alex leans down and kisses him.
Or: The thing is, Tim knows for a fact that Alex has other places he could get it. So why does he keep coming back to Tim?

“I said fifty,” Greg says. “Now I’m thinking it’s five hundred and I feel even worse.”

Or: Tim has known Alex for two decades and knows him better than anyone, and still thinks he would rather die than hear Alex say something nice about him.
Greg has known Alex for almost one decade now, but he still sometimes feel like he doesn't know him at all.
