Summary
Keeping an eye on Daniel had been harder than Armand had anticipated. He was well accustomed to following people without being noticed, even by other vampires, but he’d never realized just how much the Mind Gift had helped with it. After returning to New York, Daniel had shut himself up in his apartment to write the book - Armand had known he wasn’t going to let that go just because Louis had changed his mind, hadn’t he warned Louis about allowing such a tenacious reporter into their home? - and Armand had quickly learned there was a fine line in between close enough to hear Daniel and close enough for Daniel to sense Armand.
Or, 5 times Armand nearly gets caught being a helicopter maker, and what makes him finally decide to talk to his fledgling.

Summary
His hands smooth up and down Armand’s sides, eyes invariably drawn back to the bralette.
“Christ, this is so hot,” he growls.
He can’t seem to keep his hands off it, fingers exploring the lace, the contrast between fabric and skin. He holds Armand by the sides, staring with so much desire and reverence that Armand feels buoyed by it, made all-powerful. A thumb slips under the bottom hem of the bralette; a moment later, Daniel pinches it, snaps the elastic against Armand’s skin.
“Can I fuck you in it?” he murmurs, leaning in to nose at the decorative strap running over Armand’s shoulder.
“Yes,” Armand breathes. “Yes. Please.”
Or: Armand puts on a bralette and wears it to a party; Daniel is very calm, normal and hinged about it for 5.9k words.
