It should be a routine transatlantic voyage for the RMS Mauretania, one of the finest ships to be found on the high seas. But a few days into its latest crossing from America to England, a passenger is found murdered in his cabin. There is now a race against time to find the murderer before they escape when the ship docks at Southampton - or, even worse, before they kill someone else. So Captain Arthur Rostron, the Mauretania's master and commander, turns to some rather notable passengers for help: Hercule Poirot, Arthur Hastings, and Tommy and Tuppence Beresford. Summary
RMS Carpathia has begun her journey to the Mediterranean when an icefield near Newfoundland causes minor interruption. Then, a distress signal alerts them to Titanic’s fate, and Captain Rolstron leads an unexpected rescue mission, shocked to find that by the time they arrive, the entire ship is gone. Rose is one of the last survivors to make it to Carpathia, where she begins to rebuild her life anew.
I took some artistic liberties for this story, but I used as much factual information as possible, so if you're big history buff you may not be happy.
