Summary
Tony knew a lot of things. But really that goes without saying, seeing as Hello, genius here. The first thing Tony knew, without a doubt to be the truth would be that he would never have a happy ending. He knew what he was like, he talked too much, got distracted too easily, was too clingy. All of these things were bad qualities, hey he knows that. Sure he’s got money, but really, how much can you pay someone to stay with you forever? The second thing, was that his soulmate didn’t want him. Which just proved his point about no happy endings. The proof was written directly over his heart in bulky letters.

“The one with the cornfields is the Children of the Corn.” His breath is a visible puff of steam. “The one with the clowns is IT. But it’s just one clown.”
Sansa scowls.
“I forgot I was talking to the horror connoisseur.”
“I feel like that’s something everyone knows, actually.”
She rolls her eyes. “Guess I’m not like everyone, then.”
“No.” He turns to look at her, and something about the way he does it makes her stomach flip. “You’re not.”

If things felt fragile with him before, things are shattered beyond repair now. The glass is in her throat, threatening to suffocate her and shred it to ribbons. Her voice quavers when she speaks. “We need to talk.”
His jaw clenches right before he looks at her, as if he’s steeling himself for it. “What am I even supposed to say to you?”
And on the inside, she is collapsing, caving in. Sansa feels like she can’t breathe. She knows she deserves it, and more.
“You don’t have to say anything.” Her eyes are blurry, and she does her best to blink it away. “Just listen.”
