    “Unless I see a particularly egregious call,” Minho says serenely, smiling at Seungmin.

    “No, you—!”

    Minho’s grinning again, right in his face, through the barrier of the chain link fence. Seungmin isn’t violent, but he doesn’t think he’s ever wanted to punch somebody so badly—maybe nobody has ever been asked to get punched so much. “Wow,” Minho says. “That little vein on the side of your head is going nuts. If I keep going, will it explode?”

    Or: Little League is too cutthroat, Seo Changbin is too patient, and Lee Minho is too much of a pain in the ass.

    Minho’s brain buzzes to life. Suddenly, he’s not dead tired anymore. Suddenly, his muscles have magically stopped feeling sore. Suddenly, he feels on top of the world.

    Whoa. Cool it.

    This relationship thing with Jisung is still fairly new. He has to be chill. Sure, Jisung knows he’s weird, but that’s friendship-levels of weird. Jisung’s okay with Minho shoving tissues into Hyunjin’s mouth, or slapping all of his member’s asses, or inventing new selca poses.

    Minho can’t have Jisung knowing he’s a freak in bed. That’s a whole different level of weird. He wants to appear normal, just for a little bit.

    He’s chill. In fact, he’s so chill that he’s figured out the perfect reply to Jisung’s message.
