Summary
Sam has literally only just left the room.
But apparently, it was enough time for Cas to get Dean all worked up.
Sam had no idea the angel could be like this. But he sure as hell won't let Dean hear the end of it. -

Summary
Cas is gone.
He is at peace now. He gets to rest. For Cas, there’ll be no more pain.No one is listening anymore, but Dean keeps praying for it to be true.
Please, whoever is out there, let his angel be at peace! Please don’t torment him, don’t let him be aware, alone and hurting.
Please don’t let him forever remember his final moments! -

Summary
“Dean – “
At the sound of his name, Dean readily looks up from his laptop, giving Cas his full attention as he waits for the other to continue speaking. When he doesn’t, Dean frowns.
“Something wrong, angel?”
Cas looks as uncomfortable as Dean has ever seen him.
“Cas,” Dean prompts.
“There is something we need to talk about.” -

Summary
“There has to be something!” Dean mutters yet again, before pushing the last of the books he had been poring over off the table in impatient frustration.
“We’re trying,” Sam tells him. Also not for the first time.- - - - - - - -
Cas narrowly escaped getting run over by the Impala when he all but crash-landed on its hood.
He didn't recognize Sam and Dean when they jumped out of the car to where he lay crumpled on the dust-caked road.
He hasn't recognized them since, and Sam and Dean have yet to find a way to fix the angel. Who, apparently, isn’t that anymore! -

Dean is asleep in Cas' arms and the angel is thinking about how precious that is.
(it's just some comfy sweetness and happy Cas, really)

Summary
Castiel returns from the Empty.
And to Jack, it feels as if he didn't just get to know the angel his mother chose as his stand-in parent, but a whole new Dean as well.
He sees how Castiel's return affects both Sam and Dean.
He also witnesses a moment that teaches him more about love than words ever could. -

Summary
Dean kicked human Cas out of the bunker.
He didn't expect that watching him go would rip his heart out.
Now Dean has finally tracked Cas down - and he is determined to get his angel back. -

Summary
“I specifically told you not to do anything stupid!”
Castiel, Angel of the Lord and Garrison Commander of the Heavenly Host, a Seraph who just returned from yet another altercation with the Archangel Lucifer – who he outwitted, fought side by side with, got attacked by, yet survived – is rendered momentarily silent by the outrageousness that is Dean Winchester daring to talk to him like that.
Has a more infuriating human ever walked the earth?

You might have guessed already, but let me clarify anyway: This takes place when Cas returns to the bunker in Devil's Bargain and Dean is an ass again (sorry, but he is!) when he learns what happened. I took that, along with my frustration about how things went down, and got into Cas' head to see what he thought about it all. Enjoy!

Summary
“John Winchester,” the stranger in the trench coat growls. As if he knew him. As if they had met.
“Dad – this is Castiel,” Dean says.
John waits, all of his senses telling him there’s more to come, more to say about this guy.I took the "Lebanon" episode and turned it on its head.
John being all smiles through the whole thing never sat right with me. Also, I wanted Cas and Jack present.
My story is from John's POV, and I made him pay attention to what's going on between Dean and Cas. -

Summary
“Goddamn, Cas, I really need your help!”
“I can’t, Dean.”
“You’re letting me down, now that Sam’s gone and Bobby’s mad at me for driving him away? Great, just great.”
“I told you…”
Dean doesn’t wait for the angel to finish his excuse. He is sick and tired of those anyway. Of this hollow shell of the Cas he thought he had gotten the hang of. This is what heaven spit back out? He won’t have it. He can’t! He needs his…he needs Cas back! This is early Cas, and freshly brainwashed by heaven, too.
While Dean is desperate to find Sam, who is back at drinking demon blood.
That's where the story begins. -

Summary
Cas has been captured by a new kind of djinn created by Michael - one that uses nightmares to keep its victims under.
Dean tries his best to save Cas. The angel is badly hurt, though. -

Summary
“I love you so much!”
Dean whispers the words to Cas, lips ghosting along the curve inside the angel’s ear before moving on, to Cas’ temple, and coming to rest there. Not in a kiss. Just resting. Touching. Likely tasting the salt of sweat, feeling the residual heat as the angel comes down from his high.
Sam watches it happen and feels like he shouldn’t. -

Summary
This was meant to be a oneshot about the Grumpy Cat scene. And it's still the first of three chapters in this collection.
Next came a moment between Cas and Claire that saw them grow closer and talk Cas/Dean.
And now there's also Claire and Jack talking on the phone about Cas/Dean.That's it - for now. But stay tuned :) I'm not ruling out adding to this whenever a new idea involving Claire comes up.

Summary
"If you want my help…," the incubus leers.
"Don’t. Touch him." Dean grits his teeth as the creature grabs Cas’ face and turns it toward him, Cas looking confused more than anything.
"Cas, no!" Dean succeeds in making the angel look at him, at least. But what Cas says slices straight through Dean’s heart: "I don’t care as much about this –"
As they do, Dean finishes the sentence for himself. Cas is doing this to spare him and Sam! But he has no idea what he is getting into. As far as Dean knows, Cas has never even had sex, and he’ll be damned if this is the first – or only – experience the angel is going to get! -

The cabin has been quiet since Dean stormed out. Again.
Sam sighs. At least Cas didn’t disappear on them this time, and he doesn’t look as if he is going to.Dean is trying to be patient with CrazyCas, but he is hurting, too.
So is Sam, watching his brother sit down for yet another board game.
Things go downhill fast, but that might turn out to be a good thing, after all. -

Summary
“You can have the couch if you want. I don’t sleep much,” Jack had offered when he and Cas stood side by side, skeptically looking around the cowboy-themed suite.
“I don’t sleep at all,” Cas had told him.
Cas smiles, replaying the exchange. The story is set in the "Tombstone" episode (S13E06 if you feel like rewatching after reading).
It's about what Cas and Jack talked about while they both didn't sleep (much) that night, what else happened, and what Cas, Dean, Jack and Sam made of that come morning. -

Summary
This work is completed. It comes in three chapters, which I'm going to post every other day - so you'll have the whole story by Saturday.
I'm hoping for lots and lots of feedback along the way. Let me have it all, it's what keeps me happy and inspired :)Chapter 1 is told from Sam's POV.
He returns to the motel to find Cas hurt and asleep in Dean's arms.
For once, Dean isn't being all cagey about it. Something made him go about this in a different way, and Sam gets to see and hear things he hadn't expected. -
