Konec války se na Vyvoleném podepsal víc, než by čekal. Harry Potter právě zabil Voldemorta a teď neví, co se životem. Naplnil svoje poslání, všichni kolem jsou šťastní, ale proč není šťastný i on sám? Severus Snape má ovšem nezvyklé a neortodoxní způsoby, jakými Nebelvírovi vysvětlit, že život má pořád smysl. Tak jako tak je pozdě na to, aby se tomu vyděšený Harry vzepřel.

Summary
Život po Azkabanu není žádný med. O tom ví svoje i Lucius Malfoy, vyvrhel společnosti a stigmatizovaný smrtijed. Je třeba každý den přinášet oběti, aby si usnadnil vlastní existenci. A i kdyby jeho život visel na vlásku, nikdo by mu nepomohl. Proto mu nezbývá nic jiného, než spolknout hrdost a oslovit Harryho Pottera, když taková situace nastane. Potter je totiž nejspíš jediný, kdo se k němu neotočí zády.
