“Would you like a job here, Penny?”
Instead of jumping in joy or thanking him profusely like most people do when he offers them a job, Penny just looks confused.
“I already work here,” she says.
Tony stares at her blankly.
Or, in which Tony gets an intern, Natasha gets a hobby, and Penny gets a new family (a real one this time.)

Summary
Pre-Civil War Tony Stark is trying his best (forced by Pepper more like) to apeal to the tabloids and the rest of the world after Sokovia.
Pepper tells him he needs an intern for publicity. He's at a standstill until a particular Midtown student completely disregards the man.
Meanwhile Peter is content in his routine, rare meals with May and Ben. Part-time work, and studying. Hes fine. He totally doesn't wish or hope or pray for anything more exciting to give him meaning... for sure.

Foster kid Peter Parker barrels around a corner with a rescued cat in his arms and a cop hot on his heels. He collides with Tony Stark and blurts, “Dad! You gotta help me!” in front of a dozen cameras.
The media eats it up, and Tony rolls with it, because why not? It's good PR. The narrative writes itself. And everyone loves a good redemption arc... All he had to do was borrow the kid, smile for the cameras, and hand him back when the buzz dies down. Easy. What could possibly go wrong?

Summary
Peter’s life is painfully average until his idol, Tony Stark, finds his way into it though a message he left in the Stark Tower security system. Peter finds that Tony can paint a very glossy picture with his words, and when Tony is impressed with his well-meaning breach of the system, Peter is offered an internship which he then accepts.
He didn’t know he was walking into a death trap of a building with six of the most powerful vampires alive.

Summary
