McGonagall looked down at Enid through her glasses. “That remains to be seen. I would like you to know that I make a point of memorizing each student's name the moment they walk into Hogwarts for the first time. Tell me then, why is it that I do not know your name, nor can recall ever having you in one of my classes?”
Enid looked down, unable to hold her gaze. “Could you get Harry, please? It would be so much easier to explain with him here.”
“Mr. Potter will not be visiting you until I have deemed it safe. I do not believe that you are a member of this school, and given the recent attack, I think my hesitancy to have you arrested until I have heard from you is kind enough. Now, I will ask one more time. Who are you, and why are you here?”
Enid looked up. “My name is Enid Sinclair and I’m from another dimension.”
