Summary
Alhaitham knew the basics—everyone did. One eye was your own, the other borrowed from someone else. When you met your soulmate, the borrowed color disappeared, replaced by your own. For Alhaitham, there was a small problem. He was colorblind. Mildly. Enough that he did not see the difference between the color of his eyes. That led to a lot of consequenses he didn't anticipate.

Summary
As they walked out, she could feel Shaun stewing and probably pissed off beside her, but he didn’t say anything, so neither did she. Instead she pulled out her phone and googled San Francisco marriage license.
They were in the elevator before he finally spoke. “This is not something I’m willing to let you do.”
“Okay, well, getting deported back to fucking China is not something I’m willing to let you do, so where does that leave us?”

Summary
Al Haitham has a new co-worker.
At the same time, he could now read their mind(?).
If you could suddenly hear someone's thoughts, would it be the work of destiny or the curse of some black magic?
If you have any ideas on how to navigate the situation, it would be greatly appreciated.
Kindly email [email protected].

Summary
“Before I even start, let me ask—just in the extremely unlikely case that I may happen to be misunderstanding the situation, here—have you finally found other living arrangements?” Kaveh’s voice cracks and comes out small when he replies.
“Um… while I am still—”
“It’s a very simple question, Kaveh: yes or no.” Kaveh blanches.
“…No.”
“Fantastic. I was just wondering if you would be around to help me with a task I have been meaning to carry out for a while now that has suddenly become essential to your continued presence in my home. Any wild guesses as to what it might be?” Nervousness gets the better of him and Kaveh squirms and laughs. Al Haitham narrows his eyes at him, clearly finding the situation unfunny.
“Well, I uh—”
“Decluttering.” The way he spits the word out, sharp and scathing, has Kaveh wincing back into his chair. Ok. Clearly, someone is a little upset.Bookmarked by Nebia
