For UraIchi Week 2022 - Day 6; Gods & Goddesses AU.
It’s a quiet day when the godly realm is split asunder with the most cacophonous ascendance in centuries. The great courtyard is cracked, the Singing Bell tower is knocked askew, and Urahara is quietly, hopefully, delighted. The light condenses into a kneeling figure with equally blinding hair. Radiance settles under their skin. Light wispily drapes around them and shifts like the arcs of a solar flare. The mantle of ascension settles upon him, but he does not flinch.
Ichigo looks up and meets Urahara’s eyes across the courtyard. “Long time no see.”
Urahara’s fan opens with a snap. He smiles from behind it, entirely genuine for the first time in centuries. “Welcome home, Ichigo.”

Summary
Urahara is but a humble farmer-turned-alchemist in the Eastern Valleys, with a thirst for knowledge and vague, foggy dreams that feel like memories. He makes many creations, and as his name slowly spreads, he makes many more – but he is always drawn to dazzling fireworks that paint the night the colour of the sunset. He is not sure why, but it feels like reparations. It feels like a prayer. It feels like a message. Maybe, just maybe, he’ll get a response.
The memories of Urahara’s past life and all he had there haunts him, but not in any way he can recognize. Luckily, it still works out.

“I am looking,” he said, placing Kappatsuna Yoru on the table between them, “for the maker of this sword. Perhaps you know something of it.” He narrowed amber eyes at the man.
“Hmm.” The man reached out with gentle fingers and picked up the katana. He ran his fingers over the hilt wrappings, then slid the blade out of the sheath minutely. “Kappatsuna Yoru, right?”
“How do you know?” Mihawk demanded, eyes narrowing and body tensing.
“Well,” the man put the katana back on the table and rubbed the back of his head sheepishly. “It’d be a bit of a bad thing if I didn’t recognize my own work, right?”

Cliff stared. He stared some more.
"Why?"
“Shane hasn’t let me fuck him since the bar, it’s been too long and he always rides me when I have to see the medics.”

Then Cliff absolutely lost it.

Hayden: First he fails at convincing Shane to become his third, then walks in on him getting his back blown out, then Shane gets kidnapped :( Poor Hayden.

Summary
After two months of being on Rozanov watch post him being dumped by Montreal Jane, the Raiders all breathe a sigh of relief when their captain goes back to his usual happy self after All-Stars.
Cliff, Victor, and Connor notice that the timing of Ilya’s good mood coincides strangely well with the speculation (read: open secret) that Hollander and Rozanov definitely banged it out sometime during that weekend and after some theorizing, they’re pretty sure their captain has had a years long crush on Hollander and that his happiness hinges on making his giant crush on Shane Hollander come to fruition.
Of course, as his friends, they need to help him to the best of their abilities.

Summary
Desmond had only been planning on visiting Rome.
He only wanted a small glimpse of the city– of the man who had changed Desmond’s view on life and made him believe it was worth living. Then he would leave and try to deal with the concept of being in the past by himself. But Desmond had never been that lucky. Things never went that easy for him.
Of course he would lose his journal somewhere in Rome, and of course that journal would end up in the hands of Ezio fucking Auditore.Because that was simply Desmond’s luck.
Or, Desmond discovers his ability to draw due to the Bleeding Effect and keeps a journal. A journal which, through some unlikely coincidences, ends up in Ezio’s possession. Things unravel from there.

Scott’s age is Rozanov’s favorite topic, but now that Scott has come out, he shudders to think about what Rozanov will throw at him this season.
