Najzwyczajniej w świecie, zemdlał podczas treningu i od czterech dni nie odzyskał przytomności. Najgorsza była jednak stopniowo rosnąca gorączka, zbliżająca się do stanu krytycznego.
To były wystarczające powody, by sięgnąć po ostatnią deskę możliwego ratunku. Dlatego Stiles ociekał teraz wodą, stojąc przed wejściem do jednego z magazynów w Beacon Hills. Tego, w którym obiecał spotkać się z nim Peter Hale. -

Na skutek kilku zbiegów okoliczności, Peter również został prawdziwym Alfą. Jednocześnie zaczął pracę, jako wykładowca na kalifornijskim uniwersytecie. Wykłada tam mitologię. Stiles natomiast został tam wysłany przez Scotta, żeby znaleźć w książkach Hale'a informacje na temat dawnego wilczego rytuału.

“I'm right here dumbass,” Carlos adds.
TK shoots a hand up, trying to silence him, “Shh, this is Buck and TK time,” he cocks his head to Buck again. “Now, you were telling me if you thought Carlos was hot...”
