‘The Devil’ shows up for the first time when he’s fourteen.
Yang Jungwon is only a year younger— thirteen, bright-eyed, gentle. He’s good. Embodying everything their fallen angel of Hell isn’t. Jay takes to him easily and welcomes him in as his roommate.
“I’m hoping we get along well,” he says for the first time. Jungwon is all moonlight and diligence and pink-cheeked constellations when he returns Jay’s handshake. “I’ll do my best to look after you. If you need any help with homework or anything, just let me know.”
Jungwon lifts Jay’s hand to his lips and presses a chaste kiss to his skin. He looks embarrassed even as he does it.
“Thank you, Jay-ssi. For treating me as a brother already.”

Summary
Jungwon spends his days playing with his friends, Riki and Sunoo, tending to their garden and crops and helping out his parents from time to time. He is enjoys his life in the pack and he is grateful that he and his friends get to spend their free time frolicking in the surrounding meadows and lakes, shifting into their wolf skins and being free from the oppressive city dust. Apart from his little disability, life is great.
So when a group of foreign wolves from the city ask to join their pack, of course Jungwon is going to be apprehensive.
Especially if tall, dark, and handsome just won’t stop staring at him.
