Nanao let out a strangled squeal as the bird flew over her head, his long icy tail feathers brushing the top of her hair and came to land on Rangiku’s shoulder.
‘Wait-’ Nanao’s head whipped around and her eyes found Toshiro who hastily glanced back down at his book.
There was a beat of silence as Nanao absorbed the information and Toshiro willed himself not to blush while Rangiku made cute cooing noises at the bird.
