Time means nothing here, and the great tapestry is slowly unwound while being woven.
There is very little time left to correct the ship, to raise the Sword, to find a new path. I've finally gathered my bits of magic, and I'd like to share them with you.

Summary
John Watson is an iceberg. Most of what he really feels and thinks is hidden from sight. What's visible is just the tip of who he is, a facade masterfully created and maintained to keep others out. Sherlock glimpsed the rest of it once, but he left before he could understand the full extent of it. And the iceberg of bottled up emotion just keeps growing.
Sherlock Holmes is an iceberg. His Mind Palace extends for miles and miles below the surface. Even he doesn't know where every path leads. But the iceberg is melting away and losing momentum. At some point soon, the weight will shift and the iceberg will roll over, collapsing in on itself.

“I just want to see my sister.” The voice behind him had a heavy Russian accent. The metallic click of a gun being cocked was unmistakable. She pressed the gun to the base of his head.“Drop the gun.” Sam. Bucky closed his eyes and sighed. “And we can talk about who you’re here to see.”
She didn’t immediately move but eventually, the muzzle dropped away from Bucky. He turned and faced her. His eyes dropped immediately to the dark, wet spot that covered her abdomen.
“Sam, she’s hurt.” Bucky moved forward. She stepped back. “We won’t hurt you. Hey, easy okay? We can help you.”
It hasn’t been an easy adjustment but Bucky is finally starting to feel at home at the Avengers compound, especially with Sam around. But just as he’s starting to feel settled, Yelena shows up unexpectedly and brings with her a new threat that they’ll need to face. Bucky will need to confront his past to protect the ones he loves.
