That didn’t seem at all like a Shane’s mindset. He had gotten better with relinquishing control and his diet was getting more appropriate for a human. Still, Shane Hollander did not indulge. Maybe Ilya’s brain had confused sugar with carrots.
“I think that I need you to repeat this. Is very late.”
“Like I was saying”, glared Shane, “I booked us a table in a sugar shack for lunch. It is actually called a cabane à sucre but you are a bad Canadian who doesn’t know any French. It’s a place where they make maple syrup and you get to eat an entire meal where you put maple syrup in every dish. I think you will like it very much.”
