  Summary

  Following the events of Sonic Forces and prior to the start of the IDW canon, Shadow has set off in search of Dr. Eggman, and Sonic's whereabouts are unknown, even to those closest to him.

  In their absence, Tails winds up in pursuit of what he believes to be a vampire. The ensuing adventure will bring him and his friends face to face with ghosts of a past they cannot remember, and demons that refuse to stay buried.
