Summary
Aziraphale never gave much thought to getting married. On the occasions he did, he fancied that he might get married for love.
He hadn't imagined that he'd be married off as part of his family's negotiations of a trade deal, for the person he'd be bound to the rest of his life to come to him as part of a commercial decision. He hadn't imagined his husband would be quite so beautiful, or so clearly wanting nothing to do with him.
And he certainly hadn't expected that keeping his new husband at arm's length, as he obviously wanted, would prove to be quite so difficult.

Summary
“Aziraphale,” he says smoothly, sharply. It’s time for an end. His eyes stay closed, though, because above all he is a coward. “Why are we here?”
“Why, my boy,” Aziraphale says, surprised. “Lunch.”
“No, why are we here?”

Summary
Okay, maybe there’s something to be said for the bookcase, he thinks, as Aziraphale pulls him against it, kissing him so thoroughly that he can feel it in his toes. There is something enticingly familiar about pressing Aziraphale back against a flat surface, one hand fisted into his lapels. There is something refreshingly un-familiar about his best friend's response

Summary
“Today was perfect,” Chirrut says with a slightly dreamy sigh as he flops back onto his narrow, simple bed in the narrow, simple room they share. He threads his hands behind his head and closes his eyes and hums.
