Understand when people were attractive. Like, really get it. I could imagine kissing someone I thought was hot and it was always, y’know. Good.” Buck makes a vague hand gesture. “You know what I mean. But what’s it like when… I mean, if you had to imagine kissing a guy. What would that be like?”

    After 8x06, Buck and Eddie talk. This leads to some new revelations; or maybe they're just finally ready to face what they've been feeling all along. As it turns out, Tommy Kinard was wrong. Your first can absolutely be your last.

    “I’m sorry…” Eddie said, holding his hand out to stop the tumble of words falling from Buck’s lips. “You want to what?”

    Of all the things he thought Buck wanted to talk about at breakfast, the breakfast Buck had asked Eddie if he wanted to grab at the end of their long shift, this was nowhere near it.

    “Fake date.” Buck repeated with all the confidence in the world that Eddie didn’t believe for a second because what Buck was proposing was insane. “For the holidays.”
